The Black Women Who Make Music panel, featuring Big Boss Vette Jailen Josey Omeretta Pap Chanel Mikala Marquie – Moderator who will share their journeys, insights, and advice on securing deals, maintaining creative control, and building lasting careers.
There will also be Networking opportunities with artists, industry professionals, and brand partners. open bar , Food, and curated gift bags for attendees.

Join us for the Black Women in Music Summit, an empowering two-day event celebrating the influence and impact of Black women in the music industry.
The summit will feature thought-provoking panel discussions, including the Self-Made Panel, highlighting trailblazing women who have built successful careers on their own terms, and the Black Women in Music Panel, where industry leaders will share insights on leadership, representation, and breaking barriers.
In addition to the panels, attendees will have access to exclusive A&R, Marketing, and PR breakout rooms, where they can gain valuable industry knowledge and connections.

Coming back with the sequel to our infamous sub-series Black Women In Music! In the second part of our series, we focused specifically on black women who made music! Featuring an esteem panel of women signed to major record deals, an array of female music and entertainment executives, and well-known local female music artists, this event aimed to bridge the gap between young black women beginning their careers in music and black women entertainment executives looking to share their expertise.

Affirmation Workshop
Because even Female managers need a rest day too, we hosted a highly anticipated Affirmation workshop with the aim of having honest conversations about mental health and building community! Lead by the esteemed Chakirah and featuring Judith, CEO of Black Women in Media, Brittany, Founder of Black Women in Music, and Erica, Founder of Made the Cut Collective & Corporate Communications & Social Impact Coordinator at BET, this event discussed the nuances of Mental health as it relates to Black Women in Entertainment!

The beginning of our sub-series Black Women in Music and the second live #GetAFemaleManager event! This event was created as a safe space for BIPOC & Latinx women to learn and grow, and to get access to more exclusive music opportunities! We provided a platform for aspiring managers to get ahead as well as curated a speed job fair, a live and interactive Q&A session, a free professional headshot station, free resume reviews & an affirmation workshop!

The first live episode of #GetAFemaleManager! After working on this series and four virtual episodes, we decided to bring the #GetAFemaleManager brand to a new level with an in-person episode! In partnership with and hosted at The Orchard, this event featured several inspiring women on a panel speaking about their experiences in the music and entertainment industry, the lessons they learned, and really teach a new generation of women looking to work in Entertainment Management!

Talent Mangement
The very first episode of our workshop series for #GetAFemaleManager! In our debut episode, featuring Kim Chanel, Artist Manager & Projects at UnitedMasters, and Kristina Oglesby, Producer Manager and A&R at Empire Distribution, we dove into the nuances of navigating the ins and outs of Producer management and Artist management! During the workshop, attendees had the opportunity to ask personal questions, learn in a more intimate setting, as well as leave with a fun take home project!
